Career Story
Michael Judge’s career reflects over three decades of progression through every layer of the IT profession, from hands-on engineering to senior consultancy and digital-transformation leadership. His path combines deep technical expertise with a consistent focus on governance, service quality, and human-centred outcomes.
Beginning in frontline technical engineering and end-user support, Michael developed a practical understanding of real-world technology challenges across all organisational levels. From supporting individual staff members to advising executive boards, he learned that successful technology adoption depends on clarity, structure, and effective communication as much as technical skill.
As his experience grew, Michael moved into infrastructure management and enterprise-scale transformation roles, leading projects that modernised hybrid environments, optimised cloud strategies, and introduced automation within secure frameworks. His leadership style is defined by calm professionalism, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business plans.
Over the years, Michael has advised and supported a wide range of sectors, from government and education to finance, logistics, and non-profit organisations. His work has included large-scale Microsoft 365 and Azure migrations, Intune and endpoint-management frameworks, Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO-aligned security improvements, and modern communication projects using PBX, SIPPIO Teams calling agents, and intelligent call-flow structures.
Michael’s early grounding in RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) and PSA (Professional Services Automation) systems provided him with a solid foundation in proactive IT operations, performance monitoring, and managed-service delivery. These skills now underpin his ability to help clients optimise vendor relationships and measure IT value against defined outcomes.
As technology evolved, Michael positioned himself at the intersection of cloud, AI, and cybersecurity, expanding his consultancy to include AI security governance, Copilot and ChatGPT integration, and secure web and AI agent development. This focus reflects his belief that artificial intelligence, when implemented with the right safeguards, can enhance productivity, decision-making, and organisational resilience.
Throughout his career, Michael has upheld the principles of independence, transparency, and professional integrity that define the BCS – The Chartered Institute for IT, where he holds Chartered status (MBCS ID 995123403). His Microsoft certifications (MCP ID 1068069, MCSA, MCTS) further demonstrate a long-standing commitment to verified technical competence and continuous professional development.
Today, through Judge IT Consulting, Michael applies this experience to help organisations modernise safely, adopt AI responsibly, and strengthen their governance frameworks. His consultancy ethos remains simple: deliver independent, structured, and measurable IT and AI guidance that enables businesses to thrive securely in an increasingly digital world.
